The 70 paintings seized from Gagik Khachatryan will now be exhibited at the National Gallery.

The Investigative Committee (IC) informs that the Chairman of the IC Artur Boghossian, the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan and the Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan have familiarized themselves with the exhibition site.

Քննչական կոմիտէն (ՔԿ) կը տեղեկացնէ, որ ցուցադրութեան տեղւոյն վրայ ծանօթացած են ՔԿ-ի նախագահ Արթուր Պօղոսեան, Կրթութեան, գիտութեան, մշակոյթի եւ մարզանքի նախարար Ժաննա Անդրէասեան եւ Գլխաւոր դատախազ Աննա Վարդապետեան։

“The heads of the departments have familiarized themselves with the exhibition site of the paintings seized from Gagik Khachatryan within the framework of the criminal case.

«Գերատեսչութիւններու ղեկավարները տեղւոյն վրայ ծանօթացած են քրէական վարոյթի ծիրէն ներս Գագիկ Խաչատրեանէն առգրաւուած կտաւներու ցուցադրութեան։

These works, after investigative actions, have been handed over to the National Gallery of Armenia for safekeeping,” the IC statement said.

Այդ ստեղծագործութիւնները, քննչական գործողութիւններէ ետք, ի պահ յանձնուած են Հայաստանի Ազգային պատկերասրահին», – նշուած է ՔԿ-ի հաղորդագրութեան մէջ։

Let us recall that Gagik Khachatryan was previously arrested on charges of bribery, abuse of office, and embezzlement of large-scale state funds.

Յիշեցնենք, որ Գագիկ Խաչատրեան նախապէս ձերբակալուած էր կաշառակերութեան, պաշտօնի չարաշահման եւ պետական հսկայածաւալ միջոցներու իւրացման մեղադրանքներով։

Currently, the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia is conducting extensive legal proceedings to seize the vast property, numerous real estate properties, and millions of dollars in cash illegally acquired by him and his family members in favor of the state.
