Establishment of a parliamentary commission of inquiry into the crisis within the Church

In accordance with Article 20 (paragraphs 1 and 5, point 2) of the Constitutional Law concerning the "Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly," and at the request of at least one-quarter of the total number of members of parliament, a National Assembly inquiry committee has been established in accordance with the law. This committee is tasked with examining the crisis facing the Holy Armenian Apostolic Church, a crisis stemming from the actions of certain members of the clergy and the Church's failure to fulfill its unique mission concerning the spiritual life of the Armenian people, the development of national culture, and the preservation of national identity.

Conformément à larticle 20 (paragraphes 1 et 5, point 2) de la loi constitutionnelle relative au « Règlement intérieur de lAssemblée nationale », et à la demande dau moins un quart du nombre total des députés, une commission denquête de lAssemblée nationale a été constituée conformément au droit. Cette commission a pour mission dexaminer la crise traversée par la Sainte Église apostolique arménienne, crise découlant des agissements de certains membres du clergé ainsi que du manquement de lÉglise à sa mission singulière concernant la vie spirituelle du peuple arménien, le développement de la culture nationale et la préservation de lidentité nationale.
