Thanks to months of daily, joint, extensive operational-investigative measures by the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Armenia and Georgia, a 37-year-old man wanted by the Armenian law enforcement agencies on charges of murder, hooliganism, and illegal acquisition and possession of weapons and ammunition has been found and arrested in Georgia.

Thanks to months of daily, joint, extensive operational-investigative measures by the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Armenia and Georgia, a 37-year-old man wanted by the law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Armenia on charges of murder, hooliganism, and illegal acquisition and possession of weapons and ammunition has been found and arrested in Georgia.

He is accused of committing a murder with the use of a firearm in the Ajapnyak administrative district of Yerevan in February 2026.

As a result of cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries, the man’s extradition will be carried out in accordance with the established procedure.
