Independence is a God-given gift. It must be kept faithfully. Independence is also one of the basic principles of human rights. It must be respected.

Անկախութիւնը աստուածատուր պարգեւ է. զայն պէտք է պահել հաւատարմութեամբ։ Անկախութիւնը նաեւ մարդկային իրաւանց հիմնական սկզբունքներէն մէկն է. զայն հարկ է յարգել։

The firm preservation of independence and loyalty to its principles, values, and imperatives presupposes faith, will, and struggle.

Անկախութեան ամուր պահպանումը ու անոր սկզբունքներուն, արժէքներուն ու հրամայականներուն նկատմամբ հաւատարմութիւնը կ՚ենթադրէ հաւատք, կամք ու պայքար։

With this awareness, the Armenian people built and preserved their independence. And when they lost it due to the compulsion of historical conditions, they turned the vision of re-establishing it into a daily struggle.

Ա՛յս գիտակցութեամբ հայ ժողովուրդը կերտեց ու պահպանեց իր անկախութիւնը. եւ երբ պատմութեան պայմաններուն պարտադրանքով կորսնցուց՝ զայն վերահաստատելու տեսլականը վերածեց ամէնօրեայ պայքարի։

Indeed, the source of the strengthening and development of the homeland and the unshakable and eternal strength of our people is independence.

Արդարեւ, հայրենիքին հզօրացման ու զարգացման եւ մեր ժողովուրդին անսասանութեան ու յաւերժութեան աղբիւրը անկախութիւնն է։

The celebration of Armenia’s independence is a message addressed to every Armenian to be faithful to independence as a sacred value.

Հայաստանի անկախութեան նշումը պատգամ մըն է ուղղուած իւրաքանչիւր հայուն՝ հաւատարիմ ըլլալու անկախութեան որպէս սրբազան արժէք։
