The ballet "TAMAR", a modern reinterpretation of the legend of Akhtamar, will be performed at the Opera and Ballet Theater

“On the initiative of Yerevan Municipality, the ballet “TAMAR” will be performed at the National Opera and Ballet Theater of Armenia, a modern reinterpretation of the legend of Akhtamar.

«Երևանի քաղաքապետարանի նախաձեռնությամբ Հայաստանի օպերայի և բալետի ազգային թատրոնում կներկայացվի «ԹԱՄԱՐ» բալետը՝ Ախթամարի լեգենդի ժամանակակից վերաիմաստավորումը։

The performance is a modern reinterpretation of the legend of Akhtamar. The ballet takes place in our days. The main characters are photojournalist Aram and artist Tamar, with whose meeting the story from the past takes on a new course, touching on the themes of love, choice, memory and irreparable loss. The past becomes reality. And reality is destiny,” reads the statement released by Yerevan Municipality.

Ներկայացումը Ախթամարի լեգենդի ժամանակակից վերաիմաստավորումն է։ Բալետի գործողությունները ծավալվում են մեր օրերում․ գլխավոր հերոսները ֆոտոլրագրող Արամն ու նկարչուհի Թամարն են, որոնց հանդիպմամբ անցյալից եկող պատմությունը նոր ընթացք է ստանում՝ անդրադառնալով սիրո, ընտրության, հիշողության և անդառնալի կորստի թեմաներին։ Անցյալը դառնում է իրականություն։ Իսկ իրականությունը՝ ճակատագիր»,- ասված է Երևանի քաղաքապետարանի տարածած հաղորդագրությունում։
