"VAHAN THESSALONICA" AWARD: THE SPIRITUAL "HARVEST" OF 2025

The works presented in the "Character" section of the annual Vahan Thessalonica Award are exhibited in the Thessalonica Cedron Hall. The conference viewed the works of various artists and selected the winning work, which is the canvas "Rhythms of Love" by Surin Safaryan. Surin Safari was awarded the Vahan Thessalonica Award. Since 1992, the annual Vahan Thessalonica Award has been organized in Armenia to encourage intellectuals, artists, and artists from Armenia, Artsakh, and the Diaspora. The award ceremony began with prayer and the blessing of All Armenian Catholics Karaganda II, which was conveyed to the audience by Father Assyria. This year, the Vahan Thessalonica Award was held in the Literature, Armenian Studies, and Character sections. Former French ambassador to Armenia, Henri Keeney, has always been an eyewitness to Armenian culture and his special attitude toward Armenia. He wrote about the Eucharist entitled "There Is No Death," which won the Vahan Thessalonica Award. In the Department of Armenian Studies, the conference did the best work on Artak Malalean's work "The Foods of Artsakh in the 17th and 19th centuries." The organizers of the Vahan Thessalonica Award will keep the Armenia-Diaspora Bridge, as well as the individuals and leaders who will contribute to the strengthening of that bond, as a focus on them. For its significant contribution to the preservation of the Armenian identity, the spread of national values, and the strengthening of Armenia-Diaspora ties, The Armenian Mirror-Spectator was awarded a special prize. Alin Gregory presented the history of the foundation to the newspaper, noting that the idea of linking the emigrants of Shiphrah and uniting the Diaspora was on the basis of its creation. Each year, the Vahan Thessalonica Award will follow intellectual, spiritual, and cultural creations, and as an appreciation, it will encourage the best with prizes so that the activities of the Armenian and ethnic groups can become infectious and passed on to the next generations.
