Erik Bazinyan is set to make his highly anticipated return to the boxing ring on November 12, 2026, facing Steven Butler in a super middleweight bout at the Cabaret du Casino de Montréal. This will mark Bazinyan’s first fight in over two years, following an absence that was largely due to injuries. The Yerevan-born boxer, who has a professional record of 32 wins, 1 loss, and 1 draw, along with 23 of those victories coming by knockout, last fought in September 2024. In that match, he suffered his first professional defeat at the hands of Jaime Munguía, a setback that has only heightened his determination to return stronger than before. Bazinyan’s comeback is significant not only for him but also for the Montreal boxing community. He had to withdraw from three previously scheduled bouts against Butler, a two-time world title challenger, due to injuries, making this upcoming fight a long-awaited showdown. Fans are eager to see if Bazinyan can reclaim his status as a top contender in the super middleweight division.
