In this episode of Louisa LIVE, Louisa Sharamatyan sits down with Gevik Baghdassarian, CEO of Massis Kabob, to explore an incredible Armenian-American success story spanning five decades. The journey began in 1976, when Gevik’s late father, Hacop “Jack” Baghdassarian, opened the first Massis Kabob at the Glendale Galleria with a vision of introducing Armenian cuisine to a wider audience. Before joining the family business, Gevik graduated from USC Law School and spent 13 years as a trial attorney at Pillsbury LLP. In 2013, he transitioned into the family business, bringing his experience, leadership, and entrepreneurial vision. Today, alongside his brother Peter, Gevik continues to honor their father’s legacy, expanding Massis Kabob across Southern California, including its exciting new location at Hollywood Burbank Airport. Join us this Sunday, November 1st, at Massis Kabob’s Glendale location for their 50th Anniversary Block Party! Come celebrate five decades of delicious food, family traditions, and community!
