According to the Social Services Agency, in just one month, in September, 23,241 people were terminated from social assistance, and in the first 9 months of this year, a total of 163,111 people were removed from the base.

As noted by the then Minister of Health, Mikheil Sargsveladze, the reason for this is that people who are actually entitled to financial assistance from the state remain in the database.

Later, the government changed the rules for registering socially vulnerable families in the database.

According to the new government decision, a strict financial threshold has appeared in the system, which automatically cuts off the ability of high-income individuals to receive assistance.
