Araqchi emphasizes utilizing the capacity of diplomacy to secure national interests

According to IRNA, in continuation of the continuous consultations between the Islamic Consultative Assembly and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on issues of foreign policy and national security of the country, a meeting was held yesterday evening with the presence of the Assembly of Representatives of Tehran Province in the Islamic Consultative Assembly with Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

به گزارش ایرنا، در ادامه مشورت‌های مستمر میان مجلس شورای اسلامی و وزارت امور خارجه در خصوص مسائل سیاست خارجی و امنیت ملی کشور، عصر روز گذشته جلسه‌ای با حضور مجمع نمایندگان استان تهران در مجلس شورای اسلامی با سیدعباس عراقچی، وزیر امور خارجه برگزار شد.

In this meeting, Araghchi, while explaining the latest regional and international developments, presented a report on the most important measures and initiatives of the diplomatic service to secure the national interests of our country.

در این جلسه، عراقچی ضمن تشریح آخرین تحولات منطقه‌ای و بین‌المللی، گزارشی از مهم‌ترین اقدامات و ابتکارات دستگاه دیپلماسی برای تامین منافع ملی کشورمان ارائه کرد وزیر امور خارجه جمهوری اسلامی ایران تصریح کرد که دستگاه دیپلماسی ضمن پیگیری حقوق و منافع ملی ایران در سطح بین‌المللی، استفاده از ظرفیت‌های دیپلماسی را برای تأمین منافع ملی با جدیت دنبال می‌کند.

The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran emphasized that the diplomatic service, while pursuing Iran's national rights and interests at the international level, is seriously pursuing the use of diplomatic capacities to secure national interests.

عراقچی با تشریح اولویت‌های سیاست خارجی کشور، بر اهمیت توسعه روابط با کشورهای همسایه و منطقه، گسترش همکاری‌های اقتصادی با کشورهای مختلف، بهره‌گیری از ظرفیت دیپلماسی اقتصادی برای خنثی‌سازی تحریم‌ها و تقویت دیپلماسی عمومی و رسانه‌ای در تبیین مواضع و دیدگاه‌های جمهوری اسلامی ایران تأکید کرد.

Araghchi, explaining the country's foreign policy priorities, emphasized the importance of developing relations with neighboring and regional countries, expanding economic cooperation with different countries, utilizing the capacity of economic diplomacy to neutralize sanctions, and strengthening public and media diplomacy in explaining the positions and views of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

در این نشست، نمایندگان استان تهران ضمن طرح دیدگاه‌ها و دغدغه‌های خود در خصوص موضوعات مختلف سیاست خارجی، سوال‌هایی در رابطه با برخی مباحث سیاست خارجی مطرح کردند که وزیر امور خارجه به آنها پاسخ داد.

In this meeting, representatives of Tehran Province, while presenting their views and concerns on various foreign policy issues, raised questions regarding some foreign policy topics, which the Minister of Foreign Affairs answered.

نمایندگان مجمع استان تهران با اشاره به ضرورت حفظ وحدت و انسجام ملی و حمایت از تلاش‌های دستگاه دیپلماسی در صیانت از منافع ملی، بر اهمیت هم‌افزایی میان قوای کشور و بهره‌گیری از تمامی ظرفیت‌های ملی برای مقابله با تهدیدها و پیشبرد اهداف جمهوری اسلامی ایران تأکید کردند.

Referring to the necessity of maintaining national unity and cohesion and supporting the efforts of the diplomatic apparatus in protecting national interests, representatives of the Tehran Province Assembly emphasized the importance of synergy between the country's forces and utilizing all national capacities to confront threats and advance the goals of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
