Protests are being held in Baku and other cities in Azerbaijan against a ban on wearing the hijab in schools.

The Azerbaijani Interior Ministry reported that 37 people have been arrested.

In late September, the Azerbaijani government amended the school uniform rules, banning the wearing of clothing in schools that is different from the uniform or contradicts the secular principle of education.
Սեպտեմբերի վերջին Ադրբեջանի կառավարությունը փոփոխել է դպրոցական համազգեստի կանոնները՝ արգելելով դպրոցներում կրել համազգեստից տարբերվող կամ կրթության աշխարհիկ սկզբունքին հակասող հագուստ։
