All the gaps, all the shortcomings in this process indicate that our policy here is very weak and even the requirements of the COP conventions are not being implemented.

According to Zarafyan, taking such a step ahead of COP17 is an obstacle in the dialogue between the Bern Convention and our government.

«Դա շատ մեծ խանգարող հանգամանք , որը եղել է COP17-ից մեկ շաբաթ առաջ։

“It is a very big obstacle, which occurred a week before COP17.

Դա լավ չէ, ես կարծում եմ, որ դա չի լավացնում մեր երկրի իմիջը՝ որպես COP17 նախագահող երկրի»,- նշեց Զարաֆյանը։

"That's not good, I think it doesn't improve the image of our country as the country presiding over COP17," Zarafyan noted.

ՀԿ ներկայացուցիչը խոսելով Ամուլսարի հանքավայրի շահագործման հետ կապված ռիսկերից ու բացասական հնարավոր ազդեցությունից, ընդգծեց, որ կան երկու պաշտոնական փաստաթղթեր, որոնցում արտացոլված են Ամուլսարի շահագործման հետ կապված մտահոգությունները։

Speaking about the risks and possible negative impacts associated with the development of the Amulsar mine, the NGO representative emphasized that there are two official documents that reflect concerns about the development of Amulsar.
