International law has effectively ceased to operate: Erdogan

The modern international system is in a deep crisis of trust and legitimacy, and international law and court decisions have in many cases ceased to function properly.

This was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, speaking at the International Summit on Justice.

He again criticized the system in which the five permanent members of the Security Council have the right of veto.
