The US Embassy in Israel has warned of the risk of escalation due to the situation in Yemen.

A statement posted on the US diplomatic mission’s website warned of possible flight cancellations in the region due to the ongoing tensions.

“Americans in the Middle East should exercise heightened vigilance due to the evolving security situation.

Please be aware of possible flight cancellations, airspace closures, and travel disruptions,” the embassy warned.

At the same time, the statement emphasized that the US Embassy in Jerusalem and the Consular Section in Tel Aviv remain open and operating as usual, and that consular services are fully provided to American citizens.
