Ashot Smbatyan touched upon the Armenian-Georgian cultural ties in his speech, noting that over the centuries the cultures of the two peoples have repeatedly met, dialogued and mutually enriched each other.
Աշոտ Սմբատյանն իր խոսքում անդրադարձել է հայ-վրացական մշակութային կապերին՝ նշելով, որ դարերի ընթացքում երկու ժողովուրդների մշակույթները բազմիցս հանդիպել, երկխոսել և փոխադարձաբար հարստացրել են միմյանց։
According to him, these ties are not only a historical heritage, but also a living relationship that continues to develop through new cultural initiatives.

Under the direction of artistic director and principal conductor Eduard Topchyan, the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia, with the participation of cellist Narek Hakhnazaryan, presented works by Zakaria Paliashvili, Antonin Dvorak and Aram Khachaturian.

The concert was attended by Giorgi Volski, First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, parliamentarians, members of the Tbilisi Sakrebulo, representatives of state structures, scientific, educational and cultural spheres of Georgia, heads of diplomatic missions, military attaches and members of the Georgian-Armenian community.

The opening of an exhibition of works by the famous Armenian artist Yervand Kochar is also planned within the framework of the Days of Armenian Culture.
