The Aznavour Foundation will develop the Friendship Park in Gyumri

The Friendship Park restoration program was launched in 2018 at the initiative of philanthropist Ruben Vardanyan and was implemented by his IDeA Foundation.

The goal of the program was to create a public space of long-term social and urban significance for Gyumri, which would become an integral part of the daily life of the city's residents.

At the early stage of the program's launch, the Aznavour Foundation expressed its support for the initiative, participating as a partner in the implementation of the first foundation works.

When children come here with their grandparents not only to spend time, but also plant their tree together, and then definitely return to take care of it, this is perhaps the most important result of our work.

This is exactly what Ruben always wanted this project to become common, because the feeling of participation makes it familiar to every resident and creates a special connection with the city.

It was this vision of Ruben that made it possible for so many friends and partners to unite around a common goal.

We are glad that the Aznavour Foundation will continue the reconstruction and development of the park with the same concept that was laid at the basis of the park's development, - noted IDeA co-founder Veronica Zonabend.

The Aznavour Foundation will soon present further programs and initiatives related to the Friendship Park, continuing to develop it as an important center of public life, culture and family entertainment in Gyumri.
