"Acting for Nature": COP17 silver commemorative coin unveiled

«Գործելով հանուն բնության»․ ներկայացվել է COP17-ի արծաթե հուշադրամը

The silver commemorative coin dedicated to COP17 was officially presented. The event was attended by the Minister of Environment of the Republic of Armenia Hambardzum Matevosyan, the Chairman of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, guests and media representatives.

Պաշտոնապես ներկայացվել է COP17-ին նվիրված արծաթե հուշադրամը։ Միջոցառմանը ներկա էին ՀՀ շրջակա միջավայրի նախարար Համբարձում Մաթևոսյանը, ՀՀ կենտրոնական բանկի նախագահը, Արտաքին գործերի նախարարության ներկայացուցիչներ, հյուրեր և լրատվամիջոցների ներկայացուցիչներ։

In the run-up to COP17, this was another important manifestation of the celebration of the conference and the formation of its symbolic legacy. It is noteworthy that it is the first commemorative coin of the Central Bank made of recycled silver.

COP17-ին ընդառաջ՝ սա համաժողովի նշանավորման և դրա խորհրդանշական ժառանգության ձևավորման հերթական կարևոր դրսևորումն էր։ Հատկանշական է, որ այն Կենտրոնական բանկի՝ վերամշակված արծաթից պատրաստված առաջին հուշադրամն է։

Hambardzum Matevosyan emphasized that the conference to be held in Yerevan, in addition to political and professional results, should also leave a visible and lasting legacy. This commemorative coin is also part of that legacy, expressing the message of the conference with its design and method of creation: Acting for Nature.

Համբարձում Մաթևոսյանը կարևորել է, որ Երևանում կայանալիք համաժողովը քաղաքական և մասնագիտական արդյունքներից բացի թողնի նաև տեսանելի ու մնայուն ժառանգություն։ Այս հուշադրամը ևս այդ ժառանգության մի մասն է՝ իր խորհրդով և ստեղծման եղանակով արտահայտելով համաժողովի ուղերձը՝ Գործելով հանուն բնության։

The commemorative coins with environmental themes issued by the Central Bank in previous years were also exhibited within the framework of the event, presenting the continuous reflection of the theme of nature and biodiversity conservation in numismatic initiatives. The Minister thanked the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia for this important initiative.

Միջոցառման շրջանակում ցուցադրվել են նաև նախորդ տարիներին Կենտրոնական բանկի կողմից թողարկված՝ բնապահպանական թեմատիկայով հուշադրամները՝ ներկայացնելով բնության և կենսաբազմազանության պահպանության թեմայի շարունակական արտացոլումը դրամագիտական նախաձեռնություններում։ Նախարարը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել Հայաստանի Հանրապետության կենտրոնական բանկին այս կարևոր նախաձեռնության համար։
