Yerevan sees no need to respond to Israel's recognition of the Armenian Genocide

After Israel's recognition of the Armenian Genocide, and the critical responses from Turkey and Azerbaijan, Armenia, which is called upon in principle to be the defender of the rights of the Armenian people, saw no need to respond to this recognition.

After Israel’s recognition of the Armenian Genocide, and the critical responses from Turkey and Azerbaijan, Armenia, which is called upon in principle to be the defender of the rights of the Armenian people, did not see the need to respond to this recognition.
Իսրայէլի կողմէ Հայոց Ցեղասպանութեան ճանաչումէն, Թուրքիոյ եւ Ատրպէյճանի կողմէ քննադատական արձագանգներէն ետք, Հայաստան, որ սկզբունքով կոչուած է ըլլալու հայութեան իրաւունքներու պաշտպանը, կարիք չտեսաւ արձագանգելու այս ճանաչման։
Indeed, during a conversation with journalists on June 29, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, answering the question of why the Armenian side did not respond in any way to the fact of the Israeli government’s recognition of the Armenian Genocide, said: “We do not see the need for a response, because not entering into the topic of the militarization of the Armenian Genocide stems from Armenia’s interests.”
Արդարեւ, 29 Յունիսին լրագրողներուն հետ ունեցած զրոյցին ընթացքին Հայաստանի վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինեան՝ պատասխանելով այն հարցումին, թէ ինչո՞ւ հայկական կողմը որեւէ ձեւով չարձագանգեց Իսրայէլի կառավարութեան կողմէ Հայոց Ցեղասպանութեան ճանաչման փաստին՝ ըսաւ. «Արձագանգի կարիք չենք տեսնում, որովհետեւ Հայոց Ցեղասպանութեան զէնքայնացման թեմայի մէջ չմտնելը բխում է Հայաստանի շահերից»։
