Inauguration of the Prunus Armeniaca action in Florina

Εγκαίνια της δράσης Ρrunus Armeniaca στη Φλώρινα

Within the framework of the institution "All Greece One Culture" of the Ministry of Culture and Sports, the AMKE "Laboratory of Philosophy and Photography" in partnership with the magazine "Armenika" of the "Azatamard" association, the Ephorate of Antiquities of Florina and the Archaeological Museum organized the interdisciplinary action entitled Ρrunus Armeniaca* "A Timeless Narrative through Images and Sounds" at the Archaeological Museum of Florina.

Στο πλαίσιο του θεσμού « Όλη η Ελλάδα ένας Πολιτισμός» του Υπουργείου Πολιτισμού και Αθλητισμού, η ΑΜΚΕ «Εργαστήριο Φιλοσοφίας και Φωτογραφίας» σε σύμπραξη με το περιοδικό «Αρμενικά» του συλλόγου «Αζαταμάρντ», η Εφορεία Αρχαιοτήτων Φλώρινας και το Αρχαιολογικό Μουσείο διοργάνωσαν την διακαλλιτεχνική δράση με τίτλο Ρrunus Armeniaca* «Μία Διαχρονική αφήγηση μέσα από εικόνες και ήχους» στο Αρχαιολογικό Μουσείο Φλώρινας.

The event included two distinct artistic actions.

Η διοργάνωση περιλάμβανε δύο διακριτές καλλιτεχνικές δράσεις.

The visual photography installation, “Compositions” curated by Vangelis Ioakeimidis, selections from the photographic archive of the magazine “Armenika”, with historical moments and testimonies from the arrival of Armenian refugees in 1922, from 28/7 to 28/10/2022.

Την εικαστική εγκατάσταση φωτογραφίας, «Συνθέσεις» σε επιμέλεια Βαγγέλη Ιωακειμίδη, επιλογές από το φωτογραφικό αρχείο του περιοδικού «Αρμενικά», με ιστορικές στιγμές και μαρτυρίες από την έλευση των Αρμενίων προσφύγων το 1922, από τις 28/7 έως 28/10/2022.

The musical performance “Dialogues” (Zruits I – II).

Την μουσική παράσταση «Διάλογοι» (Ζruits Ι – II).

A conversation of traditional and contemporary Armenian music by Vahan Galstian (doudouk) and Lefteris Chavoutzas (guitar) with the participation of Maria Spyridonidou (voice).

Συνομιλία παραδοσιακής και σύγχρονης αρμενικής μουσικής των Βαχάν Γκαλστιάν (doudouk) και του Λευτέρη Χαβουτζά (Κιθάρα)με τη συνδρομή της Μαρίας Σπυριδωνίδου (φωνή).

Συνθέσεις και Διάλογοι που ριζώνουν στον ίδιο τόπο και αναδεικνύουν αφηγήσεις και μνήμες, κόσμους ολόκληρους που αναβιώνουν στον ίσκιο μιας βερικοκιάς, του Prunus Armeniaca – του συμβόλου της Αρμενίας

*Prunus armeniaca - (Prunus armeniaca): scientific name of the Apricot, a fruit-bearing tree, native to East Asia which was transported to Europe via Armenia.

*Prunus armeniaca - (Προύμνη* αρμενιακή): επιστημονική ονομασία της Βερικοκιάς, οπωροφόρο δέντρο, αυτοφυής στην Ανατολική Ασία το οποίο μεταφέρθηκε στην Ευρώπη μέσω της Αρμενίας.

The production was carried out within the framework of the 2022 program, of the “All of Greece One Culture” institution of the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
