Possibilities for modernizing the migration data management system were discussed

The meeting took place within the framework of the “Strengthening Migration Data in Armenia: Promoting Progress in Achieving the Goals of the Global Compact on Migration” project implemented by IOM and funded by the IOM Development Fund.

Հանդիպումը տեղի է ունեցել ՄՄԿ-ի կողմից իրականացվող և ՄՄԿ Զարգացման հիմնադրամի կողմից ֆինանսավորվող «Միգրացիայի տվյալների հզորացումը Հայաստանում. Միգրացիայի համաշխարհային պայմանագրի նպատակներին հասնելու առաջընթացի խթանում» ծրագրի շրջանակում։

The meeting focused on issues related to the development and modernization of the migration data management system in the Republic of Armenia, its compliance with European Union and other international standards, as well as the possibilities of applying modern technologies and artificial intelligence in data management policy processes.

Հանդիպման առանցքում են եղել Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում միգրացիոն տվյալների կառավարման համակարգի զարգացմանն ու արդիականացմանը, դրա Եվրոպական միության և միջազգային այլ չափանիշներին համապատասխանեցմանը, ինչպես նաև տվյալների կառավարման մշակման քաղաքականության գործընթացներում ժամանակակից տեխնոլոգիաների և արհեստական բանականության կիրառման հնարավորություններին առնչվող հարցեր։

The regulations arising from the RA Law “On Public Information” were discussed, as well as the existing legal, institutional and technical gaps in the field, possible steps towards ensuring data interoperability between state bodies, integration of information systems and improvement of data quality.

Քննարկվել են «Հանրային տեղեկությունների մասին» ՀՀ օրենքից բխող կարգավորումները, ինչպես նաև ոլորտում առկա իրավական, ինստիտուցիոնալ և տեխնիկական բացերը, պետական մարմինների միջև տվյալների փոխգործունակության ապահովման, տեղեկատվական համակարգերի ինտեգրման և տվյալների որակի բարելավման ուղղությամբ հնարավոր քայլերը։
