The Armenian embassies announced on September 29 that starting from October 5, the service of issuing and exchanging Armenian passports abroad through embassies and consular offices (including via videoconference) will be temporarily suspended.
Հայաստանի դեսպանատուները 29 Սեպտեմբերին յայտարարեցին, թէ 5 Հոկտեմբերէն սկսեալ ժամանակաւորապէս պիտի դադրեցուի արտասահմանի մէջ՝ դեսպանատուներու եւ հիւպատոսական հիմնարկներու միջոցով (ներառեալ տեսակապով) Հայաստանի անցագիրներու տրամադրման եւ փոխանակման ծառայութիւնը։
This step is due to the transition period for the introduction of a new biometric system in accordance with the Law “On Identity Documents”.
Այս քայլը պայմանաւորուած է «Անձը հաստատող փաստաթուղթերու մասին» օրէնքին համաձայն կենսաչափական նոր համակարգի ներդրման անցումային փուլով։
According to the statement, details on the resumption of the service will be communicated later, through official information platforms.
Յայտարարութեան համաձայն, ծառայութեան վերսկսման վերաբերեալ մանրամասնութիւնները պիտի հաղորդուին յետագային՝ պաշտօնական տեղեկատուական հարթակներու միջոցով։
