The workshop, established at the initiative of His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, as part of the “Grossroots” cultural grant program of the Japanese government, with the support of the Japanese Embassy in Armenia and the Armenian General Charity Union, has been equipped with the necessary equipment, the AAC press service specified.
The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Ambassador of Japan to Armenia Yoko Anazawa, member of the Board of Directors of the Armenian General Charity Union Vazgen Yakubyan, representatives of Armenian museums, restoration specialists and employees of the Armenian office of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
