On September 21, a gala concert was held at the National Concert Hall of the Palacio Libertad in Buenos Aires to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the Third Republic of Armenia. The concert was organized by the Armenian Embassy in Argentina.
El 21 de septiembre, en la Sala Nacional de Conciertos del Palacio Libertad de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, tuvo lugar un concierto de gala con motivo del 35º aniversario de la Tercera República de Armenia, organizado por la Embajada Armenia en Argentina.
The concert brought together Armenian and Argentine artists, creating a unique dialogue between the musical and cultural traditions of both countries. It was opened by the Aeropuertos Argentina Orchestra, conducted by Néstor Tedesco, who performed excerpts from Aram Khachaturian's ballet "Masquerade" and "Sabre Dance."
El concierto reunió a artistas armenios y argentinos y creando un singular diálogo entre las tradiciones musicales y culturales de ambos países. Fue inaugurado por la Orquesta Aeropuertos Argentina, bajo la dirección de Néstor Tedesco, que interpretó fragmentos del ballet «Mascarada» y la «Danza de los sables» de Aram Khachaturian.
The renowned bandoneon player Walter Ríos performed Sayat-Nova's "Qani vur jan im" and Astor Piazzolla's "Adiós Nonino," while Mariel Dupetit presented Charles Aznavour's "La bohème." Soprano Alla Avetisyan sang Artemi Ayvazyan's "Yerevan" and Komitas' "Krunk." Duduk player Hakob Barseghyan, accompanied by the orchestra, presented Astor Piazzolla's "Oblivion" and a medley of works by Sayat-Nova.

The choir, composed of 35 students from Armenian schools in Buenos Aires, specially formed for this concert commemorating the 35th anniversary of Armenia's independence and directed by Areg Knyazyan, performed the emblematic song "Erebuni-Yerevan."

The Embassy expressed its "deepest gratitude to the National Secretariat of Culture, the Palacio Libertad, and all the artists who participated in the concert for their valuable contribution to this important cultural initiative." "Special thanks to the concert's artistic director, Vahram Hambardzumyan, for his invaluable support and commitment to the project," the diplomatic mission stated.
La Embajada expresó "su profundo agradecimiento a la Secretaría de Cultura de la Nación, al Palacio Libertad y a todos los artistas que participaron en el concierto, por su valiosa contribución a la realización de esta importante iniciativa cultural". "Un agradecimiento especial al director artístico del concierto, Vahram Hambardzumyan, por su valioso apoyo y compromiso con la realización del proyecto", señalaron desde la sede diplomática.
Finally, they expressed their "most sincere gratitude to the wonderful audience, whose presence and warm reception made this evening a truly special, moving, and unforgettable celebration."
Por último, manifestaron su "más sincero agradecimiento al querido público, cuya presencia y cálida respuesta hicieron de esta velada una celebración verdaderamente especial, emotiva e inolvidable".
