In the second match of the UEFA Nations League, the Armenian national football team hosted Montenegro at the Vazken Sarkisian Stadium in Yerevan. Montenegro secured a dramatic 3-2 victory with a goal in the 89th minute.
Por la segunda fecha de la Liga de Naciones UEFA, el seleccionado de fútbol de Armenia recibió en el Estadio Vazkén Sarkisian, de Ereván, al representativo de Montenegro, que con un agónico gol logrado al minuto 89 de juego, lo derrotó por 3 a 2.
The visitors opened the scoring in the 20th minute of the first half with an own goal by Armenian defender Erik Piloyan of Urartu. However, Armenia quickly responded, equalizing in the 34th minute through Ararat Armenia striker Artur Seropyan. But the joy of the tie was short-lived, as Nikola Krstovich, defender for Atalanta in Italy, restored the visitors' lead in the 38th minute.

The Armenian team came out firing in the second half, determined to equalize, and achieved it with a spectacular goal from their star player, midfielder Eduard Spertsyan. His shot from over 25 meters found the top corner, sending his teammates, the packed stadium, and their coach, Eghishé Melikyan, into a frenzy of celebration.
El seleccionado armenio salió con todo en el segundo tiempo a buscar la igualdad y lo alcanzó con un verdadero golazo convertido por su figura, el mediocampista Eduard Spertsyan, quien con un disparo de más de 25 metros puso la pelota en el ángulo, para la inmensa alegría de sus compañeros, los hinchas -que habían colmado el estadio- y su técnico, Eghishé Melikyan, quien festejó el gol apasionadamente.
Just when it seemed the match would end in a draw, Montenegro snatched victory in the final minute with a goal from defender Alexa Latkovic (video).

On Friday, October 2nd, the Armenian national team will return home to face Cyprus in the third round of matches.
