On September 19th, the Armenian community of San Carlos de Bariloche laid the foundation stone for Plaza Armenia, a space approved by the Municipality of Bariloche and located at the entrance to the city. The aim is to provide a dedicated space for the local Armenian community.
La comunidad armenia de San Carlos de Bariloche colocó el 19 de septiembre la piedra fundamental de la Plaza Armenia, un espacio aprobado por la Municipalidad de Bariloche y ubicado en la entrada de la ciudad, con el objetivo de contar con un lugar propio de referencia para la colectividad armenia local.
The foundation stone was laid during an informal gathering on the site designated for the plaza, situated in a prominent and well-maintained area near one of the entrances to Bariloche.
La instalación se realizó durante un encuentro informal en el terreno destinado a la plazoleta, ubicado en un sector destacado y cuidado de uno de los accesos a Bariloche.
Municipal approval allowed the creation of the space, which will be named Plaza Armenia and integrated into the city's urban fabric, to move forward.
La aprobación municipal permitió avanzar con la creación del espacio, que llevará el nombre de Armenia y se incorporará al entramado urbano de la ciudad.
