New electric car unveiled in China receives over 14,000 orders in 1 hour

The Chinese car brand Lynk & Co has introduced a new electric car, the Lynk & Co 20, with a starting price in China of around 15,000 euros. Just an hour after the model went on sale, the company has received 14,663 confirmed orders.

The car is equipped with an 800-volt system, a 329-horsepower engine and a LiDAR sensor. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.4 seconds. The Lynk & Co 20 is available with two batteries, the declared maximum range of which is up to 630 km. With fast charging, the battery is charged from 10% to 80% in about 12 minutes.

The emphasis is also on technology in the car interior: It has a 15.4-inch screen, a 23-speaker audio system, wireless charging and an automatic parking system. The Lynk & Co 20 is not just a new model for the company: it was introduced at a time when the brand is facing a decline in sales in the domestic market, emphasizing its relatively low price, fast charging, powerful engine and technological equipment.
