Nikol Pashinyan sues Edgar Ghazaryan: demands refutation and 6 million drams

In particular, the basis for the lawsuit was one of Ghazaryan’s interviews from a few days ago, on September 27, in which he said: “The Azerbaijani advance, the breach of the defense line, and the advance occurred only after October 6, 2020, when Nikol Pashinyan went to Stepanakert, held a consultation there at the command and staff point, returned, and began to provide direct information to the enemy.”

Մասնավորապես, հայցի համար հիմք է հանդիսացել օրեր առաջ՝ սեպտեմբերի 27-ին, Ղազարյանի հարցազրույցներից մեկը, որտեղ նա ասում է. «Ադրբեջանական առաջխաղացումը, պաշտպանական բնագծի ճեղքում և առաջխաղացումը եղել ա ընդամենը 2020 թվականի հոկտեմբերի 6-ից հետո, երբ որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը գնաց Ստեփանակերտ, էնտեղ անցկացրեց խորհրդակցություն հրամանատարաշտաբային կետում, վերադարձավ, սկսեց թշնամուն ուղիղ տեղեկություններ տալ»։

Nikol Pashinyan is asking the court to oblige Edgar Ghazaryan to issue a public rebuttal with the following content:

Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը դատարանին խնդրում է պարտավորեցնել Էդգար Ղազարյանին հրապարակային հերքում տարածել հետևյալ բովանդակությամբ.

“During an interview given on September 27, 2026, I, Edgar Ferdinand Ghazaryan, disseminated the following information regarding the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan: “The Azerbaijani advance, the breach of the defense line and the advance occurred only after October 6, 2020, when Nikol Pashinyan went to Stepanakert, held a consultation at the command and staff point, returned, and began to provide direct information to the enemy.” I declare that this information is completely false, does not correspond to reality, and slanders the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.”

«2026 թվականի սեպտեմբերի 27-ին տրված հարցազրույցի ընթացքում, ես՝ Էդգար Ֆերդինանդի Ղազարյանս, ՀՀ Վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի վերաբերյալ տարածել եմ հետևյալ տեղեկությունը՝ «Ադրբեջանական առաջխաղացումը, պաշտպանական բնագծի ճեղքում և առաջխաղացում եղել ա ընդամենը 2020 թվականի հոկտեմբերի 6-ից հետո, երբ որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը գնաց Ստեփանակերտ, ընդեղ անցկացրեց խորհրդակցություն հրամանատարաշտաբային կետում, վերադարձավ, սկսեց թշնամուն ուղիղ տեղեկություններ տալ»։ Հայտնում եմ, որ այդ տեղեկություններն ամբողջությամբ սուտ են, չեն համապատասխանում իրականությանը և զրպարտում են ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին»։

According to the lawsuit, the opposition MP must disseminate the refutation through “News AM” LLC, live on air, by reading the original text specified in the judgment in a video recording, under the heading “Refutation: Regarding the defamatory information published by me about the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan during the interview of 27.09.2026.” Pashinyan also demands that the refutation not contain additional comments from Ghazaryan or any third party and be limited exclusively to the text of the refutation.

Ըստ հայցի՝ ընդդիմադիր պատգամավորը պետք է հերքումը տարածի «Նյուզ Էյ Էմ» ՍՊԸ-ի միջոցով՝ ուղիղ եթերում, վճռով նշված բուն տեքստը տեսաձայնագրմամբ ընթերցելու միջոցով, «Հերքում՝ 27.09.2026թ. հարցազրույցի ընթացքում իմ կողմից ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի մասին հրապարակված զրպարտություն պարունակող տեղեկությունների վերաբերյալ» խորագրով։ Փաշինյանը նաև պահանջում է, որ հերքումը չպարունակի Ղազարյանի կամ որևէ երրորդ անձի լրացուցիչ մեկնաբանություն և սահմանափակվի բացառապես հերքման տեքստով։

In addition to the refutation, the Prime Minister demands that Ghazaryan confiscate 6 million drams in his favor as compensation.

Բացի հերքումից՝ վարչապետը պահանջում է Ղազարյանից հօգուտ իրեն բռնագանձել 6 մլն դրամ՝ որպես փոխհատուցման գումար։

The lawsuit was filed with the Civil Court yesterday, October 1, and was signed by Judge Marina Tashchyan.
