An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with 7 mobile phones attached to it with adhesive tape was discovered and destroyed by the employees of the “Armavir” Penitentiary Institution.

This was stated in a statement issued by the Public Relations Department of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia.

“On October 1, at around 06:25, an employee of the security department serving in one of the observation towers of the “Armavir” Penitentiary Institution of the Republic of Armenia reported an unmanned aerial vehicle (drone) approaching the institution. The movement was also recorded by the video surveillance system. An unmanned aerial vehicle (drone) with 7 mobile phones attached to it with adhesive tape was discovered and destroyed by the employees of the “Armavir” Penitentiary Institution,” the statement said.
