On October 8-11, Yerevan Fashion Week 2026 will be held

This year, the concept of Yerevan Fashion Week is built around the central idea of “Pink City Yerevan”, and the launch coincides with the “Erebuni-Yerevan” celebrations.

Այս տարի Yerevan Fashion Week-ի հայեցակարգը կառուցված է «Վարդագույն քաղաք Երևան» (Pink City Yerevan) կենտրոնական գաղափարի շուրջ, իսկ մեկնարկը համընկնում է «Էրեբունի-Երևան» տոնակատարությունների հետ։

Vahan Khachatryan, President of the Chamber of Fashion of Armenia, spoke about the opening ceremony and concept: “Our event coincides with the Erebuni-Yerevan celebration, and we decided to hold the opening at the Erebuni Museum. We chose the theme “Ancient Gods”, inspired by Levon Shant’s drama of the same name and its philosophy of how religious restrictions cannot stop the development of beauty and love.”

Հայաստանի Նորաձևության պալատի նախագահ Վահան Խաչատրյանն անդրադարձավ բացման արարողությանն ու հայեցակարգին․ «Մեր միջոցառումը համընկնում է Էրեբունի-Երևան տոնակատարության հետ, և որոշեցինք բացումն անել Էրեբունի թանգարանում։ Թեման ընտրեցինք «Հին աստվածներ»՝ ոգեշնչված Լևոն Շանթի համանուն դրամայից և դրա փիլիսոփայությունից, թե ինչպես կրոնական սահմանափակումները չեն կարողանում կասեցնել գեղեցիկի ու սիրո զարգացումը»։

“Ancient Gods. During the special exhibition titled “From Erebuni to Modern Yerevan”, the works of novice and young Armenian designers will be presented using about 30 mannequins. Inspired by ancient Armenian mythology, symbols and historical figures, the exhibition will create a dialogue with the archaeological environment through light, music and visual stories.

«Հին աստվածներ․ Էրեբունուց մինչև ժամանակակից Երևան» խորագրով հատուկ ցուցադրության ընթացքում շուրջ 30 մանեկենների միջոցով կներկայացվեն սկսնակ ու երիտասարդ հայ դիզայներների աշխատանքները։ Հայկական հին դիցաբանությունից, սիմվոլներից ու պատմական կերպարներից ներշնչված ցուցադրությունը լույսի, երաժշտության և վիզուալ պատմությունների միջոցով երկխոսություն կստեղծի հնագիտական միջավայրի հետ։

“We had more than 70 applicants for the Fashion Scout competition who did not pass the final round. We collected interesting clothes from these participants and dedicated the exhibition to them in large part, which, I think, is a very good opportunity to present their works,” said Khachatryan.

«Fashion Scout մրցույթին ունեինք մոտ 70-ից ավելի դիմորդներ, որոնք չեն անցել եզրափակիչ փուլ։ Այդ մասնակիցներից հավաքել ենք հետաքրքիր հագուստներ և ցուցահանդեսը մեծ մասամբ նվիրել հենց նրանց, ինչը, կարծում եմ, շատ լավ հնարավորություն է նրանց աշխատանքները ներկայացնելու համար»,- նշեց Խաչատրյանը։

The program will start with the Fashion Scout competition, for which an international jury has selected 8 finalists. The first place prize will be the opportunity to participate in the Fashion Scout competition at London Fashion Week, as well as the mayor’s traditional prize of 1 million drams. In addition, the director of the Italian Polimoda University will personally select one participant who will be provided with the opportunity to undergo a summer training course at Polimoda.

Ծրագիրը կմեկնարկի Fashion Scout մրցույթով, որի համար միջազգային ժյուրին ընտրել է 8 ֆինալիստների։ Առաջին տեղի մրցանակը կլինի Լոնդոնի նորաձևության շաբաթի Fashion Scout մրցույթին մասնակցելու հնարավորությունը, ինչպես նաև կսահմանվի քաղաքապետի ավանդական 1 միլիոն դրամի մրցանակը։ Բացի այդ, իտալական Polimoda համալսարանի տնօրենն անձամբ կընտրի մեկ մասնակցի, ում կտրամադրվի Polimoda-ում ամառային դասընթացի վերապատրաստման հնարավորություն։

There will also be a Showroom, a showroom open to the public (free admission), where clothes, accessories and jewelry from more than 40 Armenian brands will be presented. And the Fashion Talks platform, jointly initiated with Dalma Garden Mall, will host sectoral discussions with the participation of international guests and experts.

Գործելու է նաև Showroom-ը՝ հանրության համար բաց ցուցասրահը (մուտքն ազատ է), որտեղ կներկայացվեն 40-ից ավելի հայկական բրենդների հագուստներ, աքսեսուարներ և զարդեր։ Իսկ «Դալմա Գարդեն մոլի» հետ համատեղ նախաձեռնված Fashion Talks հարթակում միջազգային հյուրերի ու փորձագետների մասնակցությամբ կանցկացվեն ոլորտային քննարկումներ։

Svetlana Sahakyan, Head of the Department of Contemporary Art and Book Publishing of the RA Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Sports, said: “Every year, the program includes the Fashion Scout format, which is a program supported by the ministry. Young beneficiaries interested in this field have the opportunity, as winners, to continue their education, at least in a training format, in different countries.”

ՀՀ ԿԳՄՍՆ Ժամանակակից արվեստի և գրահրատարակչության վարչության պետ Սվետլանա Սահակյանը հայտնեց․ «Ամեն տարի ծրագրում առկա է Fashion Scout ձևաչափը, որը նախարարության կողմից աջակցվող ծրագիր է։ Այս ոլորտով հետաքրքրված երիտասարդ շահառուները հնարավորություն են ստանում՝ որպես հաղթողներ, իրենց կրթությունը, թեկուզ վերապատրաստման ձևաչափով, շարունակել տարբեր երկրներում»։

She also added that the issue of ensuring the continuity of the program is being discussed. “It is still under discussion, but in the future we plan to have a corresponding program course at one of our universities, so that the ideas and proposals presented during this project have a continuous nature and serve as a basis for receiving quality professional education.”

Նա նաև հավելեց, որ քննարկվում է ծրագրի շարունակականության ապահովման հարցը․ «Դեռ քննարկման փուլում է, բայց հետագայում նախատեսում ենք մեր ենթակայությամբ գործող բուհերից մեկում ունենալ համապատասխան ծրագրային կուրս, որպեսզի այս նախագծի ընթացքում ներկայացված գաղափարներն ու առաջարկները շարունակական բնույթ ունենան և հիմք հանդիսանան որակյալ մասնագիտական կրթություն ստանալու համար»։

Representatives of prestigious international magazines and leading experts in the field will arrive in Armenia to participate in Yerevan Fashion Week 2026: Vogue, Harper’s BAZAAR, ELLE, FashionUnited, Metal Magazine, Fucking Young! magazines, as well as international buyers from Italy, Kazakhstan and other countries.

Yerevan Fashion Week 2026-ին մասնակցելու համար Հայաստան են ժամանելու միջազգային հեղինակավոր պարբերականների ներկայացուցիչներ և ոլորտի առաջատար մասնագետներ՝ Vogue, Harper’s BAZAAR, ELLE, FashionUnited, Metal Magazine, Fucking Young! ամսագրերից, ինչպես նաև միջազգային գնորդներ Իտալիայից, Ղազախստանից և այլ երկրներից։

As Elen Manukyan, co-founder and program manager of the Fashion Chamber of Armenia, noted: “We invite international designers from abroad to come to Armenia and use our platform, which allows us to position Yerevan Fashion Week as an international event. Fashion Week is not just a show, but a complete industrial platform for learning, gaining experience and networking.”

Ինչպես նշեց Հայաստանի Նորաձևության պալատի համահիմնադիր և ծրագրերի ղեկավար Էլեն Մանուկյանը․ «Արտերկրից հրավիրում ենք միջազգային դիզայներների, որպեսզի գան Հայաստան և օգտագործեն մեր հարթակը, ինչը հնարավորություն է տալիս Երևանի նորաձևության շաբաթը դիրքավորել որպես միջազգային իրադարձություն։ Նորաձևության շաբաթը միայն ցուցադրություն չէ, այլ սովորելու, փորձ ստանալու և շփման ամբողջական ինդուստրիալ հարթակ»։
