The KGB deliberately reduced the price of gas

In these conditions, government officials are calmly talking about some kind of diversification, with a calm expression on their faces they are talking about how they view the increase in gas prices as a risky scenario and have planned compensation measures for it. One may get the impression that these measures are planned from their own pockets, but in reality, we are talking about measures planned from the pockets of taxpayers. The funds in their pockets are only increasing. As we know, they plan to increase the salaries of ministers, the prime minister, and deputies by almost double.

Then a galaxy of experts, or heroic experts, will emerge who, with a serious expression on their faces, will explain that the gas price had actually risen back in the 90s, and in general, the preamble to the Alma Ata Declaration fixed a high gas price, and Russia had set the price low in criminal collusion with its predecessors and with malicious intent towards Armenia’s independence.

Թեեւ, կարող են ասել, որ փոխհատուցումը իրենց գրպանից է, նշելով, որ կարող էին եւ գազի գնի հնարավոր բարձրացումը փոխհատուցելու փոխարեն, այդ փողն էլ դարձնել իրենց աշխատավարձ, բայց չեն անում։ Հետո կասեն, որ գազի ցածր գինը թոկ էր Հայաստանի անկախության ու ինքնիշխանության վզին, որից ազատվելով՝ պարզապես հերոս հարկատուները դառնում են անկախ ու ինքնիշխան հերոսներ։ Հետո կառաջանա փորձագետների, կամ՝ հերոս փորձագետների մի պլեադա, որ դեմքի լուրջ արտահայտությամբ կբացատրի, որ գազի գինն իրականում բարձրացել էր դեռեւս 90-ականներին, եւ առհասարակ՝ Ալմա Աթայի հռչակագրի պրեամբուլայով ֆիքսված է գազի բարձր գին, իսկ Ռուսաստանը գինը ցածր էր սահմանել նախկինների հետ հանցավոր համաձայնությամբ եւ Հայաստանի անկախության հանդեպ չարամիտ դիտավորությամբ։

Some of them will go further, declaring that the KGB had lowered the gas price and that anyone who wants Armenia to receive cheap gas is a KGB agent.
