Cooperation in the construction of a nuclear power plant should not be with only one state: Gandhi

Armenia is approaching a decision that will have consequences not only for today’s generation, but also for future generations. On September 29, in Yerevan, Rosatom head Alexei Likhachev presented the details of the Russian proposal: a new unit with a capacity of about 1,000 megawatts, the possibility of operating the existing Metsamor NPP until 2046, and the significant additional cost of this option. He also suggested making the Russian project international, with the participation of European and Asian companies.

Հայաստանը մոտենում է մի որոշման, որի հետևանքները կրելու են ոչ միայն այսօրվա, այլև հաջորդ սերունդները։ Սեպտեմբերի 29-ին Երևանում «Ռոսատոմի» ղեկավար Ալեքսեյ Լիխաչյովը ներկայացրեց ռուսական առաջարկի մանրամասները․ նոր՝ մոտ 1000 մեգավատ հզորությամբ բլոկ, գործող Մեծամորի ԱԷԿ-ը մինչև 2046 թվականը աշխատեցնելու հնարավորությունը և այդ տարբերակի զգալի լրացուցիչ արժեքը։ Նա նաև առաջարկեց ռուսական նախագիծը դարձնել միջազգային՝ եվրոպական և ասիական ընկերությունների մասնակցությամբ։
