Hamazkayin Dance Ensemble Enchanted the Penteli Festival

Շէնքը, իր իւրայատուկ գեղեկցութեամբ, պատմական եւ մշակութային արժէք ներկայացնող համալիր մըն է, ուր տեղի կ՚ունենան ուշագրաւ մշակութային ելոյթներ։

The festival program included dance groups and choirs representing Greece, Armenia, Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine.

Փառատօնի յայտագիրին մէջ ընդգրկուած էին պարախումբեր եւ երգչախումբեր, որոնք կը ներկայացնէին Յունաստանը, Հայաստանը, Մոլտավիան, Վրաստանը եւ Ուքրանիան։

Within this framework, the performance of the Hamazkayin dance group gave a special shine to the evening, coloring the atmosphere of the festival.

Այս շրջագիծէն ներս, Համազգայինի պարախումբի ելոյթը յատուկ փայլ մը տուաւ երեկոյին, երանգաւորելով փառատօնի մթնոլորտը։

The presence of the Japanese Embassy’s credential was noteworthy, as an award was presented to him and appreciation was expressed to the Japanese people, honoring the rescue of nearly 800 Armenian and Greek refugees by the Japanese ship “Tokei Maru” during the Asia Minor disaster of 1922.

Յատկանշական եղաւ Ճափոնի դեսպանութեան հաւատարմարի ներկայութիւնը, որուն անձին մէջ պարգեւատրում կատարուեցաւ եւ գնահատանք արտայայտուեցաւ Ճափոնի ժողովուրդին հանդէպ, յարգելով 1922-ի Փոքր Ասիոյ աղէտին ժամանակ ճափոնական «Թոքէյ Մարու» նաւուն կողմէ մօտ 800 հայ եւ յոյն գաղթականներու փրկութիւնը։

During the speech, the Armenian and Greek exiles who were able to be saved and take refuge in Greece during the Smyrna disaster were mentioned several times, thanks to the heroic rescue work of the Japanese ship’s captain and crew.

Ելոյթի խօսքերուն ընթացքին քանիցս նշում եղաւ հայ եւ յոյն տարագրեալներուն, որոնք Զմիւռնիոյ աղէտի պահերուն կարողացան փրկուիլ եւ Յունաստան ապաստանիլ, շնորհիւ ճափոնական նաւի ղեկավարի ու անձնակազմի հերոսական փրկարար գործին։

On this occasion, the Japanese diplomat received a series of souvenirs and expressed gratitude to the Greek people for the honor.

Այս առիթով, ճափոնցի դիւանագէտը ստացաւ շարք մը յուշանուէրներ եւ երախտագիտութիւն յայտնեց յոյն ժողովուրդին՝ կատարուած պատիւին համար։

Then, the program was quite rich and comprehensive, presenting the countries’ folk art through dance and song.

Այնուհետեւ, յայտագիրը բաւական ճոխ ու ընդգրկուն եղաւ, ներկայացնելով երկիրներու ժողովրդագրական արուեստը պարով ու երգով։

The Hamazkayin “Nayiri” dance troupe, led by dance teacher Edgar Ekian, presented three traditional Armenian dances in beautiful costumes, which greatly impressed the audience.

Համազգայինի «Նայիրի» պարախումբը, ղեկավարութեամբ պարուսոյց Էտկար Էկեանի, գեղեցիկ տարազներով ներկայացուց հայկական աւանդական երեք պարեր, որոնք մեծապէս տպաւորեցին ներկաները։

Applause followed one another, expressing the enthusiasm and appreciation of the audience.

Ծափահարութիւնները իրար յաջորդեցին, արտայայտելով ներկայ բազմութեան խանդավառութիւնն ու գնահատանքը։

It should be noted that within the framework of the cultural festivals held in Greece during the summer, the presence of Hamazkayin always leaves an impression, captivating foreign audiences with the richness of Armenian dances and the professional performances of the dance troupe members.
