The southern entrance to Yerevan, the major transport hub of Noragavit, is being reconstructed.

Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan shared a video about this on his Facebook page.

“This is one of the busiest sections entering the city, where traffic jams and emergency situations have been occurring for years. A 272-meter overpass and two overpasses (28m and 22m) will be built. As a result, the flows entering, exiting and transiting the city will be completely separated, the southern entrance will be unloaded, the North-South connection will be improved, and movement for the residents of Noragavit and adjacent areas will become incomparably safer and faster,” Avinyan wrote alongside the video, adding that the tenders have been passed, the contracts have been signed.

«Սա քաղաք մտնող ամենածանրաբեռնված հատվածներից է, որտեղ տարիներով խցանումներ ու վթարային իրավիճակներ էին առաջանում։ Կառուցվելու է 272 մետրանոց էստակադա և երկու ուղեանց (28մ և 22մ)։ Արդյունքում քաղաք մտնող, դուրս եկող ու տարանցիկ հոսքերը լրիվ կտարանջատվեն, կբեռնաթափվի հարավային մուտքը, կբարելավվի Հյուսիս–հարավի հետ կապը, Նորագավիթի ու հարակից հատվածների բնակիչների համար տեղաշարժը կդառնա անհամեմատ ապահով ու արագ»,-տեսանյութին կից գրել է Ավինյանը` հավելելով, որ մրցույթներն անցած են, պայմանագրերը կնքված:

"We are implementing this major 1.5 billion drams program with the support of the RA government, and after 16 months we will have safe and uninterrupted traffic here," the mayor wrote.

«1.5 մլրդ դրամանոց այս խոշոր ծրագիրն իրականացնում ենք ՀՀ կառավարության աջակցությամբ և 16 ամիս անց այստեղ կունենանք անվտանգ ու անխափան երթևեկություն»,-գրել է քաղաքապետը:
