Justice Minister Srbuhi Kalyan has announced that the draft of the new Constitution of Armenia is planned to be published by the end of 2026, after concluding discussions with colleagues.

Armenia's New Constitution Draft Planned to Be Published by the End of the Year

Justice Minister Srbuhi Galyan has announced that the draft of the new Constitution of Armenia is planned to be published by the end of 2026, after summing up discussions with colleagues.

The minister also denied the document circulating on the Internet, emphasizing that it has nothing to do with the original developed by the ministry and was never a working or draft version.

Նախարարը միաժամանակ հերքած է համացանցին վրայ շրջանառուած փաստաթուղթը՝ շեշտելով, որ անիկա որեւէ առնչութիւն չունի նախարարութեան կողմէ մշակուած բնագիրին հետ եւ երբեք չէ հանդիսացած աշխատանքային կամ սեւագիր տարբերակ։

According to Galyan, after the publication of the draft, it will be put up for wide discussions, involving both government and opposition circles, as well as other interested parties.

Գալեանի համաձայն, նախագիծի հրապարակումէն ետք անիկա պիտի դրուի լայն քննարկումներու՝ ներգրաւելով թէ՛ իշխանական, թէ՛ ընդդիմադիր շրջանակները, ինչպէս նաեւ այլ շահագրգիռ կողմեր։

He also emphasized that the original text to be published will not be final, but will go through further discussions and refinements, during which changes are possible.

Ան նաեւ ընդգծած է, որ հրապարակուելիք բնագիրը վերջնական պիտի չըլլայ, այլ պիտի անցնի հետագայ քննարկումներու եւ ճշգրտումներու փուլերէ, որոնց ընթացքին հնարաւոր են փոփոխութիւններ։
