At 20:00, the polling stations were closed, and the Central Election Commission summarized the preliminary turnout data.

It should be recalled that a new regulation of the right to vote was in effect in these elections. Citizens over 18 years of age who had been registered in the population register of the community where the election was held for at least six months prior to the election day and who, as of the 48th day preceding the election day, had actually been in the Republic of Armenia for at least 366 days during the 730 days preceding it, could participate in the local government elections.
