Monkey broke into store, drank alcohol, and fell asleep

The incident took place in the Ormanjhi Chowk area. The store employees first tried to get the monkey out, then offered it biscuits to distract it. However, the monkey took the vodka bottle, broke it and drank the alcohol.

After some time, the monkey lay down on one of the liquor crates in the store and fell asleep. Eyewitnesses filmed the incident.

According to locals and shopkeepers, in recent days the monkey had also been seen licking the remaining alcohol from discarded bottles.
