Peskov called on Armenia to decide on participation in the Eurasian Economic Union or the EU

“We respect all of Armenia’s sovereign rights, but at the same time, Armenia is a participant in the EAEU integration process, and the gradual transition to other standards will not be compatible with the EAEU standards in various areas. This is what we mean when we say that it is very important to make a choice. And it is very important that one of the EAEU member states does not contradict the rules, norms and principles of this important integration association, which are important for all of us,” the Kremlin representative noted.

«Մենք հարգանքով ենք վերաբերվում Հայաստանի բոլոր ինքնիշխան իրավունքներին, սակայն, միևնույն ժամանակ, Հայաստանը ԵՏՄ ինտեգրացիոն գործընթացի մասնակից է, և այլ չափանիշների աստիճանական անցումը չի համատեղվի ԵՏՄ չափանիշների հետ ամենատարբեր ոլորտներում։ Ահա թե ինչ նկատի ունենք, երբ ասում ենք, որ շատ կարևոր է ընտրություն կատարել։ Եվ շատ կարևոր է, որպեսզի ԵՏՄ անդամ երկրներից մեկը չհակասի այս կարևոր ինտեգրացիոն միավորման կանոններին, նորմերին և սկզբունքներին, որոնք կարևոր են բոլորիս համար»,- նշել է Կրեմլի ներկայացուցիչը։
