Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has stated that Baku is closely following the process of amending the Armenian Constitution.

Baku awaits amendments to Armenia's Constitution

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has stated that Baku is closely following the process of amending the Armenian Constitution. He noted that in accordance with the joint declaration adopted in Washington, Armenia must adopt a new Constitution in order to complete the peace process.

Ատրպէյճանի արտաքին գործոց նախարար Ճէյհուն Պայրամով յայտարարած է, որ Պաքու ուշադիր կը հետեւի Հայաստանի Սահմանադրութեան փոփոխութեան գործընթացին։ Ան նշած է, որ Ուաշինկթընի մէջ ընդունուած միացեալ հռչակագիրին համաձայն՝ խաղաղութեան գործընթացի ամբողջացման համար Հայաստան նոր Սահմանադրութիւն պէտք է ընդունի։

Bayramov stressed that the timing of the constitutional amendments is Armenia’s internal affair, and Baku’s position on this issue has not changed. He also announced that he will meet with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan in the near future. The Armenian Foreign Ministry confirmed the planned meeting without giving details about the date and venue.

Պայրամով ընդգծած է, որ Սահմանադրութեան փոփոխութեան ժամկէտները Հայաստանի ներքին գործն են, իսկ Պաքուի դիրքորոշումը այս հարցին շուրջ չէ փոխուած։ Ան նաեւ յայտնած է, որ մօտ ապագային հանդիպում պիտի ունենայ Հայաստանի արտաքին գործոց նախարար Արարատ Միրզոյեանին հետ։ Հայաստանի ԱԳՆ-ն հաստատած է նախատեսուող հանդիպումը՝ առանց թուականի եւ վայրի մասին մանրամասնութիւններու։

Referring to the demarcation, Bayramov said that the work is planned in a north-south direction, starting from the point of intersection of the borders of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia.

Անդրադառնալով սահմանազատման՝ Պայրամով ըսած է, որ աշխատանքները նախատեսուած են հիւսիսէն հարաւ ուղղութեամբ՝ սկսելով Հայաստանի, Ատրպէյճանի եւ Վրաստանի սահմաններու հատման կէտէն։

He also spoke about the "Trump Road" project, noting that negotiations are continuing between Armenia and the United States, and the start of physical work on the project has been postponed to 2027.

Ան նաեւ խօսած է «Թրամփի ուղի»-ի ծրագիրին մասին՝ նշելով, որ բանակցութիւնները կը շարունակուին Հայաստանի եւ Միացեալ Նահանգներու միջեւ, իսկ ծրագիրին ֆիզիքական աշխատանքներու մեկնարկը տեղափոխուած է 2027 թուական։
