Recall that last week, the Georgian Dream Prime Minister, like his teammates, criticized the Council of Europe for a training course held in Bakhmaro jointly with the Tbilisi School of Political Studies (TSPS).

Հիշեցնենք, որ «Վրացական երազանք»-ի կառավարության ղեկավարն անցյալ շաբաթ, իր թիմակիցների նման, քննադատել էր Եվրոպայի խորհրդին՝ «Թբիլիսիի քաղաքական հետազոտությունների դպրոցի» (TSPS) հետ համատեղ Բախմարոյում անցկացված դասընթացի (թրենինգի) համար։

Two days before the meeting, on September 21, the State Audit Service announced that it would investigate the issue of the Tbilisi School of Political Studies (TSPS) receiving a “grant” from the Council of Europe.

Հանդիպումից 2 օր առաջ՝ սեպտեմբերի 21-ին, Պետական աուդիտի ծառայությունը հայտարարեց, որ կուսումնասիրի Եվրոպայի խորհրդից Թբիլիսիի քաղաքական հետազոտությունների դպրոցի (TSPS) «դրամաշնորհ ստանալու» հարցը։

The Council of Europe denied the claim about the grant, stating that former politician Armaz Akhvlediani’s organization, TSPS, was only the host of the seminar.

Եվրոպայի խորհուրդը ժխտել է դրամաշնորհի հատկացման մասին պնդումը` հայտնելով, որ նախկին քաղաքական գործիչ Արմազ Ախվլեդիանիի կազմակերպությունը՝ TSPS-ը, միայն սեմինարի հյուրընկալողն է եղել։

Irakli Kobakhidze demanded an “appropriate legal response” on this issue on September 18, “if it is indeed confirmed that the Law on Transparency has been violated.”

Իրակլի Կոբախիձեն սեպտեմբերի 18-ին այս հարցի վերաբերյալ «համապատասխան իրավական արձագանք» էր պահանջել, «եթե իրոք հաստատվի, որ խախտվել է «Թափանցիկության մասին» օրենքը»։

According to the government’s press service, the meeting, which took place in New York on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, focused on the long-standing fruitful cooperation between Georgia and the Council of Europe. The organization’s significant support for the development of democracy, protection of human rights and the rule of law in the country was noted.

Կառավարության մամուլի ծառայության փոխանցմամբ՝ հանդիպմանը, որը կայացել է Նյու Յորքում՝ ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի 81-րդ նստաշրջանի շրջանակում, զրույցը վերաբերել է Վրաստանի և Եվրոպայի խորհրդի միջև առկա բազմամյա արդյունավետ համագործակցությանը։ Նշվել է կազմակերպության նշանակալի աջակցությունը երկրում ժողովրդավարության զարգացման, մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության և օրենքի գերակայության ուղղությամբ։
