Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in his speech at the 81st session of the UN General Assembly in New York, among other issues, also touched upon the situation in the South Caucasus.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in his speech at the 81st session of the UN General Assembly in New York, among other issues, also touched upon the situation in the South Caucasus.
Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը Նյու Յորքում ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր վեհաժողովի 81-րդ նստաշրջանում ունեցած ելույթում, տարբեր հարցերից զատ, անդրադարձել է նաև Հարավային Կովկասում իրավիճակին։
“Our position on the South Caucasus is very clear: we want a lasting peace to be established between Azerbaijan and Armenia. We highly appreciate and support the political will shown by Mr. Aliyev and Mr. Pashinyan to find a solution,” Erdogan said.
«Հարավային Կովկասի վերաբերյալ մեր դիրքորոշումը չափազանց հստակ է․ մենք ցանկանում ենք, որ Ադրբեջանի և Հայաստանի միջև հաստատվի տևական խաղաղություն։ Բարձր ենք գնահատում և աջակցում ենք պարոն Ալիևի և պարոն Փաշինյանի՝ լուծում գտնելու ուղղությամբ ցուցաբերած քաղաքական կամքը»,- հայտարարել է Էրդողանը։
He also noted that Ankara is resolutely pushing forward the process of normalizing relations with Armenia.
