Dear compatriots, on September 21, 1991, the Armenian people reaffirmed their will to live freely and independently, based on the birth certificate of our modern statehood, the Declaration of Independence.
Սիրելի՛ հայրենակիցներ, 1991 թուականի Սեպտեմբերի 21-ին հայ ժողովուրդը վերահաստատեց ազատ ու անկախ ապրելու իր կամքը` հիմք ունենալով մեր նորօրեայ պետականութեան ծննդեան վկայականը` Անկախութեան Հռչակագիրը: Դարեր շարունակ մեր ժողովրդի կրած զրկանքներն ու զոհաբերութիւնները մեզ յանգեցրել են յստակ ճշմարտութեան․ անկախ պետականութիւնը մեզ համար ինքնանպատակ չէ: Այն միակ եւ անփոխարինելի միջոցն է` պահպանելու մեր ազգային ինքնութիւնը եւ ապահովելու …
