More than 100 children required hospitalization due to poisoning in kindergartens, according to the Ministry of Health.

According to Health Minister Mikheil Sarjveladze, over 100 children required hospitalization due to poisoning in kindergartens.

Sarjveladze told reporters that none of the children's conditions were at risk of complications.

"Over 100 children required hospitalization, but fortunately, in none of their cases was their condition such that it required extraordinary attention in terms of the expected risk of deterioration," Sarjveladze stated.

He stated that the investigation will determine the cause of the incident.

"As a result of a full investigation, we will know what happened, and everyone found guilty, if guilty, will be held accountable.

I see no reason to criticize the National Food Agency. It's interesting to see why the regulatory authority should be held accountable when it's the one in control," Sarjveladze stated.
