ARMENIAN SPIRITUAL LEADERS MEET WITH TRUMP AT THE WHITE HOUSE

The Embassy of the Republic of Armenia to the United States reports: “The Embassy of the Republic of Armenia to the United States, in cooperation with the White House Office of Faith, organized a meeting during which Armenian Spiritual Leaders in the United States and Ambassador Mkrtchyan met with President Donald Trump, the Head of the White House Office of Faith, longtime U.S. pastor Paula White-Kane, and the Director of the White House Office of Faith, Jennifer S. Corn.”

Միացեալ Նահանգներու մէջ Հայաստանի Հանրապետութեան դեսպանատունը կը հաղորդէ. «Միացեալ Նահանգներու մէջ Հայաստանի Հանրապետութեան դեսպանատունը Սպիտակ տան Հաւատքի գրասենեակին հետ համագործակցութեամբ նախաձեռնած է հանդիպում, որուն ծիրին մէջ Միացեալ Նահանգներու հայ հոգեւոր առաջնորդները եւ դեսպան Մկրտչեան հանդիպում ունեցած են նախագահ Տանըլտ Թրամփի, Սպիտակ տան Հաւատքի գրասենեակի ղեկավար, Միացեալ Նահանգներու երկարամեայ հոգեւոր հովիւ Փոլա Ուայթ-Քէյնի եւ Սպիտակ տան Հաւատքի գրասենեակի տնօրէն Ճենիֆըր Ս. Քոռնի հետ»:

According to the embassy, “during the meeting, views were exchanged on relations between the Republic of Armenia and the United States, Christian-civilizational ties between the two peoples, religious freedoms, as well as efforts aimed at establishing peace and stability.

Դեսպանատան համաձայն, «հանդիպումի ընթացքին միտքեր փոխանակուած են Հայաստանի Հանրապետութեան եւ Միացեալ Նահանգներու միջեւ յարաբերութիւններու, երկու ժողովուրդներուն միջեւ քրիստոնէական-քաղաքակրթական կապերու, կրօնական ազատութիւններու, ինչպէս նաեւ խաղաղութեան եւ կայունութեան հաստատման ուղղուած ջանքերու շուրջ:

“The importance of establishing peace and strengthening mutual understanding between peoples was considered important, emphasizing the importance of faith and spiritual values in this process.”

«Կարեւոր նկատուած է խաղաղութեան հաստատման եւ ժողովուրդներու միջեւ փոխըմբռնման ամրապնդման անհրաժեշտութիւնը` ընդգծելով հաւատքի եւ հոգեւոր արժէքներու նշանակութիւնը այս գործընթացին մէջ»:

“The Armenian spiritual leaders offered a collective prayer and sought God’s blessing for the well-being and future of the peoples of Armenia and the United States, and for the friendship between the two countries.

«Հայ հոգեւոր առաջնորդները հնչեցուցած են հաւաքական աղօթք եւ Աստուծոյ օրհնութիւնը հայցած են Հայաստանի եւ Միացեալ Նաանգներու ժողովուրդներու բարօրութեան եւ ապագայի, երկու երկիրներուն միջեւ բարեկամութեան համար:

“In their prayer, the spiritual leaders also addressed efforts aimed at establishing peace, emphasizing the contribution of United States President Donald Trump to the peace process established in the Republic of Armenia,” the statement said.

«Հոգեւոր առաջնորդները իրենց աղօթքին մէջ անդրադարձած են նաեւ խաղաղութեան հաստատման ուղղուած ջանքերուն` ընդգծելով Միացեալ Նահանգներու նախագահ Տանըլտ Թրամփի ներդրումը Հայաստանի Հանրապետութեան մէջ հաստատուած խաղաղութեան գործընթացին», կը նշուի հաղորդագրութեան մէջ:
