Let us recall that today in the National Assembly, the discussion of the draft law on making amendments and additions to the law “On the Structure and Activities of the Government” and adopting the text of the oath of a member of the Government in the second reading turned into a political clash. CP member Arman Yeghoyan, referring to the clause “For the Persistence, Independence and Sovereignty of Armenia” of the oath text, criticized the ARF, declaring that for these purposes it is necessary to “uproot Dashnaktsutyun from Armenian political thought” and added that “Christine Vardanyan should be the last Dashnaktsutyun.”

Յիշեցնենք՝ այսօր Ազգային ժողովում «Կառավարութեան կառուցւածքի եւ գործունէութեան մասին» օրէնքում փոփոխութիւններ եւ լրացումներ կատարելու՝ Կառավարութեան անդամի երդման տեքստը երկրորդ ընթերցմամբ ընդունելու մասին օրէնքի նախագծի քննարկումը վերածւեց քաղաքական բախման։ ՔՊ-ական Արման Եղոյեանն, անդրադառնալով երդման տեքստի «Յանուն Հայաստանի յարատեւութեան, անկախութեան եւ ինքնիշխանութեան» դրոյթին, քննադատութեամբ յարձակւեց ՀՅԴ-ի վրայ՝ յայտարարելով, թէ այդ նպատակների համար անհրաժեշտ է «դաշնակցականութիւնն արմատախիլ անել հայ քաղաքական մտքից» եւ յաւելեց, որ «Քրիստինէ Վարդանեանը պէտք է լինի վերջին դաշնակցականը»։

In response, Christine Vardanyan noted: “As strange as it may seem, Mr. Yeghoyan, thank you for your sincerity, thank you for tearing off your masks, because the more you fight against Dashnakism and the Dashnaktsutyun, the stronger the Dashnaktsutyun will become. You had a literally and literally fascist speech from this podium. Yes, just as the Turks wanted to leave an Armenian in the world, as an example of something like that, you repeated the same thing literally, literally. But just as the Turks did not succeed in their program, you will not succeed in the same way. I have come up with a term for you, which, I think, characterizes you best: you are young Bolsheviks. You are young Bolsheviks, you have the same targets as the Young Turks, and the same tools as the Bolshevik mentality. Congratulations, you can now address yourselves as Young Bolsheviks. And in reality, you know, for as many Armenist as there have been over the past 135 years, there have been forces greater than you who have fought against the Armenian Genocide. Try, try, I repeat, you are only making us stronger by doing so.”

Ի պատասխան՝ Քրիստինէ Վարդանեանը նշեց. «Ինչքան էլ տարօրինակ լինի, պարո՛ն Եղոյեան, շնորհակալութիւն ձեր անկեղծութեան համար, շնորհակալութիւն ձեր դիմակները պատռելու համար, որովհետեւ դուք ինչքան պայքարէք դաշնակցականութեան եւ Դաշնակցութեան դէմ, Դաշնակցութիւնը այնքան ուժեղանալու է։ Դուք այս ամբիոնից ունեցաք բառացիօրէն եւ տառացիօրէն ֆաշիստական ելոյթ: Այո՛, ինչպէս թուրքերն էին ուզում աշխարհում թողնել մի հայ՝ այսպէս օրինակ, որ տենց բան եղել է, դուք բառացի նոյնը կրկնեցիք, բառացի։ Բայց ինչպէս թուրքերը իրենց ծրագրում չեն յաջողել, նոյնը չէք յաջողելու դուք: Ես մի տերմին եմ մտածել ձեզ համար, որը, կարծում եմ, ձեզ ամենալաւն է բնութագրում. դուք երիտբոլշեւիկներ էք: Դուք երիտբոլշեւիկներ էք, դուք ունէք նոյն թիրախները, ինչ որ երիտթուրքերը, եւ նոյն գործիքակազմը, ինչ որ բոլշեւիկեան մտածողութիւնը: Շնորհաւորում եմ, կարող էք այսուհետ ձեզ դիմել որպէս երիտբոլշեւիկներ: Եւ իրականում, գիտէք, 135 տարւայ ընթացքում որքան արմանեղոյեաններ են եղել, ձեզնից աւելի մեծ ուժեր են պայքարել Դաշնակցութեան դէմ: Փորձէ՛ք, փորձէ՛ք, կրկնում եմ, դուք դրանով միայն մեզ ուժեղացնում էք»։
