Vento Energy is developing the 43.2 MW Breti Wind Power Plant project in Georgia. The installation of all six wind turbines at the plant has been successfully completed, marking a significant milestone in the project's implementation. Six Goldwind GWH182-7.2 MW model turbines have been installed at the plant, each with a capacity of 7.2 MW. Goldwind Georgia delivered the project under its integrated PTCI (Project Transportation & Construction Integration) service model, providing full lifecycle support beyond installation. Notably, the Breti Wind Power Plant is the largest wind power plant in Georgia to be fully financed by a local commercial bank. The project is being developed with the financial support of Bank of Georgia. ‘We are delighted to announce the completion of another modern renewable energy project in Georgia, which will soon be integrated into the national power grid. We would like to express our gratitude to all stakeholders involved, with special thanks to Goldwind and Bank of Georgia for their support and valuable contribution to the implementation of this project’, said Zakaria Avaliani , Vento Energy Director ‘The completion of the Breti Wind Power Plant reflects Goldwind’s long-term commitment to Georgia’s energy transition. Since entering the Georgian market in 2024, we have secured nine wind projects totaling 438 MW, and we will continue to bring our integrated delivery capabilities and reliable turbine technology to support the country’s energy independence and sustainable development. We thank Vento Energy, Bank of Georgia, and all partners for their trust and collaboration, ’ said Peter Guo, Business Development Director, Goldwind Georgia. ‘The development of wind energy is one of the pivotal directions for achieving Georgia’s energy independence. Wind power generation complements the winter energy deficit and reduces dependence on imports. This area is of strategic importance for Bank of Georgia. Accordingly, by financing the Breti Wind Power Plant project, we are supporting the development of wind energy in Georgia and strengthening the country’s energy independence,’ said Bondo Tabatadze, Sector Head of Corporate Sales at Bank of Georgia. _____________________________________ Paid for by: Bank Of Georgia
