On Friday evening, October 16, 2026, under the auspices of H.E. Archbishop Kegham Khacherian, Prelate of the Western Prelacy of the United States, the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Western Prelacy hosted its inaugural “Family Dinner Under the Stars” at the outdoor dining venue of the Griffith Park Clubhouse in Los Angeles. The special gathering brought together members of the community for an enjoyable evening of fellowship, entertainment, and support for the mission of the Western Prelacy. The event brought together approximately 120 guests, including Western Prelacy Executive Council members Mrs. Dzovig Zetlian, Mrs. Elo Boyajian, and Mr. Ronnie Gharibian, along with benefactors, supporters, families, friends, and devoted members of the community who share a strong commitment to the mission of the Armenian Church. The evening commenced with welcoming remarks by Mrs. Maral Keledjian, a member of the organizing committee. Archbishop Khacherian offered a blessing before dinner, after which guests enjoyed a delightful selection of appetizers. The thoughtfully planned and elegantly arranged gathering was warmly received by attendees, who expressed their appreciation through generous and spontaneous donations. Set beneath a starlit sky in a beautiful and enchanting outdoor setting, the evening was made even more memorable by the performances of three talented musicians: violinist Shant Tanielian, qanun player Alicia Keoshgerian, and the evening’s surprise performer, bouzouki player Hagop Markarian. Their lively performances, featuring a variety of Armenian and international dance melodies, filled the evening with music, joy, and celebration. As Archbishop Khacherian remarked during his address, the gathering provided guests with a welcome opportunity to set aside the demands of the workday and the fatigue of the entire week, allowing everyone to enjoy an evening of relaxation, friendship, and fellowship. Archbishop Khacherian also announced that the proceeds from the event would be allocated by the Ladies’ Auxiliary toward upgrading and improving the equipment and production capabilities of the Western Prelacy’s Sunday television program. In his remarks, Archbishop Khacherian highlighted the important role and dedicated involvement of the Ladies’ Auxiliary in supporting the ongoing activities and mission of the Western Prelacy. He commended its members for their tireless efforts, dedication, and active involvement throughout the year, recognizing their meaningful contributions toward advancing the initiatives and objectives of the Western Prelacy. In closing, Archbishop Khacherian expressed his sincere appreciation to the benefactors, volunteers, and all those whose dedicated service and contributions support the mission of the Western Prelacy. He extended his blessings and wished them renewed strength, energy, and determination as they continue their valuable service to the Armenian Church and community.
