Anna Hakobyan has entered universities: "Hraparak"

Anna Hakobyan, the wife of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who has taken the initiative to tighten the legislation against domestic violence, and who announced that she will visit the regions and collect signatures on this topic from October 1, has mobilized the republic's universities.

On September 3, it became known that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia had joined the campaign against domestic violence initiated by Anna Hakobyan and presented to the government the draft legislative amendments initiated by a number of female deputies of the Criminal Code, which was approved today during the session of the executive body.

Let us note that Anna Hakobyan had proposed making amendments to the Criminal Code and recognizing domestic violence as a separate crime.

On this topic, she wanted to meet with the leaders of the opposition factions of the National Assembly and female deputies, but they refused.
