In response to an inquiry by Azatutyun, the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ spokesperson Narek Sargsyan reported that on October 1, at 2:05 p.m., Avetisyan called the mobile phone of the community police officer serving Shaki. The police officer was not on duty at that time, having rested at his home in Sisian after the previous day’s service, but, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, he arrived at the scene less than ten minutes after the call.

Meanwhile, Ani Avetisyan told Azatutyun that after calling the police, she was the first to arrive at the house, where she got into a fight with an Azerbaijani soldier and was seriously injured. According to her, after the Azerbaijani escaped, her aunt arrived at the scene first, and about 5 minutes later, the police.
