Venezuela's Foreign Minister Accuses Uruguay of Interfering in Its Internal Affairs

Venezuelan Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Félix Plasencia has accused his Uruguayan counterpart, Mario Lubetkin, of denying the right of peoples to self-determination and interfering in the internal affairs of the Bolivarian Republic.

Venezuela's Foreign Minister Accuses Uruguay of Interfering in Its Internal Affairs

Venezuelan Foreign Minister Félix Plasencia has accused his Uruguayan counterpart, Mario Lubetkin, of denying the right of peoples to self-determination and interfering in the internal affairs of the Bolivarian Republic.

“In response to the statements made by the Foreign Minister of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela rejects outdated and arrogant views that do not respect the sovereignty and self-determination of peoples and have nothing to do with the transformation process that Venezuela is carrying out through political dialogue for democratic coexistence,” Plasencia wrote in X.

«Ուրուգվայի Արևելյան Հանրապետության արտաքին գործերի նախարարի հայտարարություններին ի պատասխան՝ Վենեսուելայի Բոլիվարյան Հանրապետությունը մերժում է հնացած և ամբարտավան տեսակետները, որոնք չեն հարգում ժողովուրդների ինքնիշխանությունն ու ինքնորոշումը և որևէ կապ չունեն Վենեսուելայի կողմից ժողովրդավարական համակեցության համար քաղաքական երկխոսության միջոցով իրականացվող վերափոխման գործընթացի հետ», – գրել է Պլասենսիան X-ում։

He accused the Uruguayan minister of unacceptable interference in Venezuela’s internal affairs.
