Students, unions and opposition groups are participating in the actions.

According to Armenpress, this was reported by the France 24 newspaper.

Swedish activist Greta Thunberg has joined the protesters who blocked one of the schools in Paris.

“Young people are not being included in the discussions.

Our future is being stolen from us, as we have seen here, schools are not receiving the investments they need,” the 23-year-old activist said, adding that they are going to fight for that future.

The student union said that about 90 percent of France’s 70 universities have been blocked or closed as part of the protest movement.

The French education minister said that about 200 schools are still closed.

Edouard Geoffrey promised last week to send an additional 3,000 teachers to schools where there is a shortage of staff.

According to him, 35 percent of those teachers have already been appointed.
